Insured Patients

Whether you need insurance or you’ve got questions about what your existing insurance covers and doesn’t cover, we’re here to help!

Insurance Accepted!

We accept most major private insurance plans as well as Medicaid (known as Apple Health in Washington) and Medicare. Our mission is to help every patient, with or without insurance. Providing insured patients with high-quality medical care helps us maintain our mission of providing care to those without insurance.

Your insurance plan will set your rates, which will determine the amount you’ll pay. Below are common insurance fee terms.

Copays

Many insurance companies charge a set copay for each service or medication. It’s due to your provider at the time of service, and CDCHC has no ability to change this amount. For example, an insurance company might charge $25 for primary care visits or $10 for common prescription drugs. If you have questions, please contact your insurance company.

Before your health insurance begins to cover your costs, you will need to cover what’s known as a deductible. For example, if your deductible is $1000, you will need to cover $1000 of your health care services (separate from your copay) before your insurance begins to kick in.

Coinsurance

This is the percentage of a service you pay after your deductible has been met. For example, if you have a 20% coinsurance, after your deductible has been met you’ll pay 20% for most services and your insurance will cover 80%. Patients are responsible for any amount their insurance doesn’t cover.
